Trace's Birthday

The invitations I ment to get out but never did they are still super
cute so I wanted to share them and I think that I am still going to scrapbook it!

Trace is now 3! Can I just tell you how scary it is? Time flies so fast it seems like yesterday we brought him home in his big Christmas stocking the hospital gave us. However Trace was really cute at the small family party we had for him. He was so excited about his lighting mcqueen cake I made for him! He keep telling me the whole day that it looked "lisous" and he was dying for a piece. We had a great turn out and we took all of our family on a hay ride though the feastive of lights. You can see Trace's eyes just glow going through the lights. When we got done he wanted to go again. It was so adorable! He loved everything he got! It was so fun to watch him tear open his gifts. I knew that this was probably his best Birthday yet. Tim and I bought him two fish and a firebelly toad for his birthday. Which he loved. The toad however didn't last long. He found the only open whole on the tank (where the filter is) and hopped out. He had jumped behind the bookcase and died from dyhration. We only had him 8hrs or so. :( Trace was okay with it though. He handle it quite well and just said "you get me a new frog?" He is so cute! He has learned a lot in his three short years of life. I wish he would stop growing and stay my little boy. (The best thing about him getting older is he is now potty trained, goes to nursery all by himself and talks like crazy I love the stories he makes up. ) All in all he had a very wonderful birthday. He told me he loved it.

Fall wrap up

Fall was a very fun and stressful time for our family. We had a crazy season. it started in September with Trezdon's Birthday. We had so much help with food which I was so greatfull for. We have such wonderful family members. Trezdon wasn't as fun as most babies are with their first cake. He just cried and we found out why later that night when he threw up. Poor kid sick on his first birthday. But once he got better he enjoyed all of his gifts.
We had our old neighbors and friends come down from WY., and stayed it was so nice to see them. We missed them so much. It was super fun catching up and taking their family pictures.
It seems like I got a lot of experince this fall taking pictures which I love. It's my passion. Every shoot I did turned out great.. But this is my family blog not my photography blog so I won't talk anymore about that.. Well besides talking about my own family pictures. I took them myself. I hate how much Trace fights me and as soon as he started doing good Trezy started acting up. I think a lot had to do with the fact we nearly faced our deaths. We were taking pictures on a train track when a train came by. I have never been so close to a train it was very loud! It was a good thing that we were close to a road for that reason and they start honking a 1/4 of a mile away. At least it seems that way. I heard it before but I though it was further away but it wasn't Tim grabbed our kids and I grabbed Bella who we where watching and my camera. I am so glad we made it up that hill safe. Anyway after that the kids were kind of freaked so we went to a different location but by then Trezy was tired so we quit and said that we would wait until the next day and we would have my mom come to help with the kids but that didn't happen. That night I was taking a buckett of carrots outside in the outside fridge. Something told me to turn on the light. But I just thought that it was me being scared of the dark and thought that I needed to face my fears. So I pressed on and then took a step and felt nothing but air and went tumbling down our food ceiler cement stairs carrots flying all over the place. And messed up my ankle pretty bad. I was to subborn to go to the dr. though although now I wished I did since it's now Dec. and it still hurts.
It seemed like time flew by after that and before we knew it Halloween had came and gone. We had fun trick or treating down main with the Kids, my parents, Bryce (my bro) and Halena (my sis) and later that night Truck or Treating with Sissy (tim's sis) and Bella (our niece) while Tim and Grandpa and Grandma scared little kids in their own haunted houses. Tim was pretty bummed because we got there late and by the time he got the van scary enough little kids had invated all of our candy lol. But Guy got there early enough to have his haunted tent up. My kids where diffently scared and Trezy cried a little but by this time they were used to their Halloween loving parents getting in their faces with scary masks... But Bella was scared beyond belief. She looked like she saw death himself and was crying and screaming louder than anyone else who went through the tent. I was very impressed with Trace though he just looked at them and after we got out he just ate his candy. Later that night we went to a homemade haunted house in Woodland Hills with my parents and Halena. It was awesome. I think that they did a really good job. They went easy on us since we had the kids but next year I am going to go without them. Although they weren't scared at all.
And then before we knew it. It was Thanksgiving. can I tell you how much I hate having 3 different families to see on one day? It was all very tiring.. But we got threw it. We ate at my parents had desert at Tims moms and made it to the Larsen side to eat some more. It really wouldn't be that bad if they all didn't plan everything at the same time. But that would make it to easy. Thanksgiving to me was probably the end of fall for me.
During this time we have had a lot of family problems that is too no our own little family but extended and although it hasn't effected my husband or kids it has me. I really can't go into details because I am protective.. It's not the first time though and probably won't be the last. With all of the stress it has caused and bills I noticed my alsures acting up a little. But don't worry it's nothing I couldn't handle.
I think that those two things are the biggest reason why I said it was hard but all in all my family has had a really great fall. I really loved watching my kids reaction to the changes of nature. Always kicking leaves and throwing them up in the air. I love it. My kids and Tim are what makes this life worth living. They made most of the bad times this fall wash away for a little bit. I don't know what I could do without them!
